Due to high demand, the program has reached its 2026 funding limit.

Please note:

• To be considered for a 2026 rebate, any remaining LI/EIEC applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed and paid in the order they are received, in accordance with program guidelines.

• Applications submitted after March 31, 2026, will not be accepted.

• There will be no waitlist for LI/EIEC rebates this year.

• The program is not accepting any additional Base applications at this time.

• The program is expected to reopen in 2027, with more details to be shared next month.

Rebates will be offered to ComEd residential customers to lower the up-front costs associated with installing a home charger.

For a limited time, this opens the possibility of paying $0–$1000 to charge at home.​

Rebate Program requires installations to be completed by an Electric Vehicle Service Provider (ESVP) to be eligible for a rebate.
