Chicago EV owners:
You may qualify for a $2,500 rebate for your charger installation.
IMPORTANT
Due to high demand, the program has reached its 2026 funding limit.
Please note:

To be considered for a 2026 rebate, any remaining LI/EIEC applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed and paid in the order they are received, in accordance with program guidelines.

Applications submitted after March 31, 2026, will not be accepted.

There will be no waitlist for LI/EIEC rebates this year.

The program is not accepting any additional Base applications at this time.

The program is expected to reopen in 2027, with more details to be shared next month.
About
Rebates will be offered to ComEd residential customers to lower the up-front costs associated with installing a home charger.
For a limited time, this opens the possibility of paying $0–$1000 to charge at home.
